District D is the heart of the City. It’s not only a bridge between Lake Charles’ northern and southern districts, but it consists of some of our community’s most historic homes and thriving commercial districts. Matt is ready to get to work cleaning, rebuilding, enhancing, and growing the heart of the City.
From advocating for better infrastructure to supporting local businesses and fostering a stronger sense of community, there’s much he’s eager to contribute to.
The new District D map (as shown) was approved by the Lake Charles City Council in 2022 and goes into effect on January 1, 2025.
